RSS Feeds
This week's Thing is RSS Feeds, which will come in very handy. I've already subscribed to the blogs of my assigned peeps, and will be able to track their progress more easily. It's gratifying to see coworkers who aren't always comfy with new technology jumping in and trying out something new. I didn't realize how easy it is to use RSS, and I can't wait to go out into the Internet "world" and pull all of my favorite sites into one place. I love learning new tricks to make me more efficient!

Blogs and More Blogs
I've been having fun this week looking at not only the blogs I've been assigned to, but some of the others as well. We have a very creative staff, and that's apparent by the variety of blogs that have been started.
I'm looking forward to the weekend--having time off to get a portion of my Christmas shopping done. I also have three family birthdays to shop for before Xmas. (I love to shop, so none of this is a hardship!) There's also a big grocery visit in my near future, since I'll be sharing Thanksgiving Dinner duties with my sister again this year. I'll make my final decisions tonight on which casseroles I'll be making, and I'm taking Wednesday off to spend the day cooking--which sounds like hell to some, but it's a day I really enjoy each year. I just need to find a good book on tape to listen to while I cook, and then I'll be set.

Welcome to Fun Stuff with Deb
My movie recommendation for the week: Oliver Stone's W. The director's portrayal of the President is more sympathetic than I expected, and provided some motivation for why he is the way he is, but still skewered him pretty well. The casting is fabulous. Josh Brolin disappears inside the character of George W. Bush. Thandie Newton's Condi Rice is scary, and I won't be surprised if she gets a Best Supporting Actress nomination. Unless you're a staunch Republican, you'll probably enjoy this film.
